The Early Childhood Iowa State Board voted on April 10, 2026, to allow existing Northwest Early Childhood Iowa, BVCS Early Childhood Iowa, and Lakes Early Childhood Iowa areas to consolidate into one area serving the 0-5 populations children and families.
